What training looks like

You'll fly wearing a view limiting device or in actual instrument conditions with your instructor. Lessons focus on scan techniques, holding patterns, and GPS and ILS approaches at KTVI and regional airfields.

We emphasize cockpit automation management on the G1000 and the backup skills to hand fly when the screens or automation aren't there.

You'll learn airline standard callouts and decision making from day one.

We recommend flying three times a week and studying on two of your days off. Often enough to retain what you learn, not so much that it overloads you. Schedules are built around you, and flying less often usually means more time relearning.
