HIGH SCHOOL CAREER TRACK / KTVI

Start your airline career before graduation.

You don't have to wait until college to take the controls. Start logging real flight hours in high school, solo at 16, and earn your Private Pilot certificate at 17.

FOR TEENS

Why wait until you graduate?

Aviation is one of the few fields where teenagers can build legitimate career credentials before finishing high school.

14 to 15

Start Real Lessons

Take the controls on day one. Learn aerodynamics, cockpit radios, instruments, and fly local training routes around South Georgia with an instructor.

16

Solo an Airplane

Under FAA rules you can fly an aircraft completely alone at 16, before you even have a full driver license. Join our First Solo Wall tradition at KTVI.

17

Private Pilot Certificate

Pass your FAA checkride and become a certificated Private Pilot. Fly your friends, take family on trips, and graduate with a major head start.

FOR PARENTS

Straight answers for parents.

We know sending your child up in an airplane requires complete trust. Here is how we keep students safe and parents informed.

01

Safety

Airline safety culture on every flight. Aircraft are maintained by experienced mechanics and inspected in accordance with FAA regulations. Weather minimums are conservative and dual instruction precedes every milestone.

02

Transparency

You get a written estimate with realistic total cost ranges before starting. Pay as you fly per lesson with itemized flight and ground logs. No surprise bills.

03

Cost Control

The FAA minimum is 40 hours and most students need more. We budget honestly for that and map out a plan that fits your family's schedule and budget.
